LG’s High-Definition TV Refrigerator

9:37 AM PST - 11/9/2007
by: D.E.

Clear some counter space. LG, a leader in cutting-edge, high-tech appliances, introduces an innovative and entertaining addition to the kitchen. The LG High-Definition TV Refrigerator is a sideby-side model that incorporates LG’s powerful fifth-generation ATSC-QAM-NTSC digital television tuner. The result is a crisp digital broadcast on a 15-inch HD LCD screen.

In addition to watching your favorite programs while working in the kitchen, the system also provides access to a weather and info center for forecasts, an uploadable photo album and recipe bank with 100 pre-loaded offerings from the Culinary Institute of America. The unit can be operated via remote control, is cable-ready, features an FM radio on the right door and can be easily connected to a DVD on the top.

While exciting as a media tool, the new model is also a great refrigerator. This next generation unit incorporates a variety of special features, including the new SpacePlus™ Ice System, which makes ice directly on the door, an OptiFresh™ crisper and BioShield™ antibacterial gasket. A child lock function, room temperature display, digital user manual, product controls and information are also part of the complete package. If you always dreamed of having Rachel Ray with you in the kitchen, now is your chance.
